Rajesh Sharma Case Study

Rajesh Sharma one of the prominent names among the robotics makes us meet the robot that produces burgers and replaces workers. Companies are flipping over this new technology but it is not out yet. As soon as it launches, it will be an amazing hit & can bring down the numbers of workers in the joints as cost per burger takes the hit directly.
Buying hundreds of the 14-foot conveyor-line, burger robots for McDonald’s, But this is not the real question here!! The real question is if he did, where would those thousands of laid-off workers go?

“Those burgers made by robots might sound very inviting and also they would come at a amazingly considerable cost,” writes Martin Ford in his book, “Rise of the Robots: Technology and the Threat of a Jobless Future”. Millions of people hold low-wage, often part-time, jobs in the fast food and beverage industries because money matters. Previously, low wages and a few benefits along with high turnover rate have helped to make fast food jobs relatively easy to find.
Ford, a high-tech futurist and an innovator was one of the keynote speakers at a conference, says that fast-food and low-skill retail positions have provided “a kind of private sector safety net jobbers with few other options: These jobs have traditionally offered an income from fall back options when no other better alternatives are available.”

So what do you think about their future and what do you suggest? Write us back.
